Band of Brothers ~ Family Photographer, East Longmeadow

I got to photograph one of my favorite families last week. A family with four boys, can you believe it? We headed out to King Philip’s Stockade Park (across from Picknelly Field) and let the boys roam free. This is a great spot because the gates are typically closed, which means no cars. And that is perfect for a family portrait. I especially love the view of Springfield from up there. The littlest brother, is only 10 months and wears glasses and, let me tell you, he is a cutie pie – full of personality already! Aren’t they adorable?

Sara Cohen - This picture managed to not only capture everybody smiling, but it seems to really capture each boy really as himself. Their personalities are shining off the page. Great shot!

The photo is a witness to the family resemblance among the band of brothers, and yet the photographer has obviously talked to the boys in setting the pose and encouraged their individual personalites to shine through. No easy task.
