When you get up to go to work in the morning, is there a spring in your step? For me, I cannot imagine being anything other than a photographer. Now, while my step may not be a “springy” as it was in my youth, I still get really excited about using my camera to capture images of you, your family and your friends. Am I “just another photographer”? No. I am a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter and a french enthusiast who loves wine, reading and traveling. I have an amazing family and I can’t imagine my life without my close friends. In essence, I am just like you.
For over ten years I have been photographing people, families, children and business men and women all over New England. I have been known to get inspired by anything from movies to window displays and when it’s not 25 degrees, or below, outside, you can find me enjoying myself in parks, beaches and backyards having fun with the people in front of my camera. The outdoors allows me more freedom to capture you doing something you love while being yourself.
As a busy mom myself, I understand the time constraints between sports, school and other activities. But it’s so important to capture your child and your family at different stages. The time goes by so quickly. You blink and suddenly your baby is going off to preschool, then getting their drivers license and before you can believe it, you’re dropping them off at college. I know first hand that you think you’ll never forget all those special moments when they say something funny or are in a silly stage, but we do forget. My goal is to create images that remind you of your child or family that preserve the memory of that moment in time.
Sleaque Images is based in East Longmeadow, MA, but you can often find Suzanne creating portraits on location all over New England.
