I got to photograph my nephews today and the rain actually held off for us! These boys are so cute and I’m not just saying that because I’m their Aunty. Believe or not, the little guy mostly cooperated, despite being two. I’m noticing a pattern of people choosing really great clothing for their sessions and this is a great example of how to choose clothing that “goes together” as opposed to just being “matchy”. Good job Michele!
The weather in New England sure has been weird lately. Bright and sunny one minute, then downpours and even *gasp* snow before halloween. What is this world coming to?
Well, we sure got lucky with some beautiful weather for our Family Portrait day! These girls were so much fun to photograph and mom did such a great job with clothing. Here’s a little sneak peek.
This year, our annual Sleaque Images “Family Portrait Day” is on October 17th at Forest Park. These outdoor portraits make really great holiday gifts and many of our clients use the images from their session to create truly unique holiday cards to share with friends and family.
We have a limited number of sessions available for the October 17th “Family Portrait Day” event. If you are interested, be sure to call now to reserve your preferred time. Just a note: We are scheduling a rain date for the following weekend.
Normally, our weekend sessions are $275, but for this special event, we are offering 45 minute sessions at $100 per family.

Tomorrow is the official first day of Autumn and Autumn in New England is a wonderful thing. It’s my absolute favorite time of year. The air is crisp, the sky is blue and the leaves change into brilliant colors. This weekend I was lucky enough to photograph two beautiful boys. They were so much fun to play with and have the most amazing happy souls. Being able to hang out in the park with this pair really made my weekend.

Ok, I’m probably not alone here, and it may seem wrong, but man am I glad that the kids are back at school! It seems like our town was the only one in the area to start after Labor Day. But we got lucky. I think the nicest weather we’ve had all summer was that last week before my kids went back to school.
This week, my son started Kindergarten, and my daughter – 1st grade. A bitter-sweet moment for me. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. The idea of my two beautiful children attending school for the WHOLE day, without me having to leave to pick up someone in the middle of the day. Part of me is so excited, and yet there is still a part of me that can’t believe I have two school-aged kids. Before I know it, I’ll be writing about graduation. Yikes.
So, in celebration of this magical moment, I’ve organized our first Fall Mom’s Night Out. We will be meeting at La Cucina in Hampden at 7pm, this coming Monday – Sept. 14th

This past week was quite busy around here being the last week before school starts. The weather has been wonderful, so we’ve tried to take advantage of it as much as possible by playing outside, riding bicycles, and having our dinners on the deck. The pool has been too cold to swim in now that the nights have gotten cooler and we’ll be closing it up on Monday.
Before leaving for the weekend, I wanted to be sure to put up a few photos from one of the sessions we did this week. These two kids are beautiful and they were so great “posing” for me. I really enjoyed hanging out with Mom afterwards while all the kids played together.
I had the pleasure of photographing this little guy on Tuesday. Mom was so patient and calm. I don’t know how she does it. This baby has the most beautiful nursery so I wanted to be sure to capture part of it. We got lots of amazing images of both him and his big sister. Here is just one – it may be my favorite.
Just had to share a photo of my two “angels” that I took this morning. They really are the best of friends (even when they’re fighting).
I had the pleasure of photographing my beautiful cousin, Kim, today. We had a blast driving all over and finding cool locations for her session. Seems like I’ve been doing a lot of H.S. Seniors lately. So much fun! Here are a few photos from the last couple sessions.
