Happy New Year! I cannot believe 2010 is here, and even more so that it’s the end of January. Well, I need to spice things up around here so enter my newest promotion, “Bring Back the Romance”. These quick, very fun mini-sessions are inspired by the old photo-booth pictures you would do as a teenager at the mall. Come on, you remember what that was like, don’t you?

Well, here’s your chance to act young, if only for 20 minutes. You and your sweetie get to come and be silly and zany. What a perfect way to combat the winter blues and create a really special Valentine memory. Let’s be honest, do we really need another pound of chocolates? Geez, I’m still trying to work off my holiday indiscretions.

one 20-minute studio session
one 4×10 “Bring Back the Romance” desktop collage
eight “original images” on CD

The weather in New England sure has been weird lately. Bright and sunny one minute, then downpours and even *gasp* snow before halloween. What is this world coming to?

Well, we sure got lucky with some beautiful weather for our Family Portrait day! These girls were so much fun to photograph and mom did such a great job with clothing. Here’s a little sneak peek.

This year, our annual Sleaque Images “Family Portrait Day” is on October 17th at Forest Park. These outdoor portraits make really great holiday gifts and many of our clients use the images from their session to create truly unique holiday cards to share with friends and family.

We have a limited number of sessions available for the October 17th “Family Portrait Day” event. If you are interested, be sure to call now to reserve your preferred time. Just a note: We are scheduling a rain date for the following weekend.

Normally, our weekend sessions are $275, but for this special event, we are offering 45 minute sessions at $100 per family.

Happy September!

Now that the kiddos are back in school, let’s have some fun with this month’s contest. The prize is a set of 25 custom holiday cards!

To enter this contest you must do two things:
Send an email to ” giveaway@sleaqueimages.com ” with the following:
(1) A short description of something fun you did with your family over Labor Day weekend
(2) A digital photo from the weekend that represents your description

This contest will end Tuesday, September 15th at midnight.

The winner will receive one set of Beautiful Custom Notecards, designed by me!

• notecards can use images already created or images from future session
• if future session is chosen, must be photographed before Thanksgiving, 2009

Announcing our Spring Promotion, “April Showers” mini-portrait sessions.

Have your child photographed in his or her favorite raincoat, boots, & umbrella or with tulips. This promotion will be available on three dates only!

Saturday, April 18th, Tuesday, April 21st, and Saturday, April 25th.

These limited edition sessions will include 15 minutes with Suzanne in our Spring theme and one 5×7″ gift portrait of the image of your choice. Cost: $49 per child.
